I share a login, and don’t remember setting up 2fa?

It’s not possible to share logins on Cygnus Music, if the other person has set up 2fa, this can also not be shared. The main account holder will need to set up 2FA first, and then once they are secure, they can add a second user to the account so that each person has their own 2FA Secured onto the account. Add other users to your account here.

I have a new phone, and I need 2fa reset?

Please send a picture of yourself holding up ID from your registered email account so we can reset this for you.

I wrote down the 2fa code, and now it’s not working.

You can’t save the code this way; the code is stored in the authentication app on your phone and refreshes constantly. You need to enter the code at the time of login.

I did not set up the app correctly, and I have lost my recovery code.

The 2fa code is not being sent to my Email address or phone number?

We do not send codes via Phone or email. Your 2FA code is stored in an authentication app that you would have set up when setting up 2FA. Please check your phone for either Google Authenticator or Authy. You should see the code next to your username.

I need to add a new user.

Please go to the label settings, and you can add new users here. Here’s how.

I have received my welcome email, and I keep clicking the activate of my account Link, but the link appears to be broken.

This only needs to be clicked once, and your account might already be activated, please try logging in.

I don’t have a phone, so can’t I use 2fa?

I can’t find the code to log in to the Cygnus Music account.

Your 2fa code is stored in an authentication app that you would have set up when setting up 2fa, please check your phone for either Google Authenticator or Authy, you should see the code next to your username.

I scanned the code but the system timed out, now I have a code but it won’t work when logging in?

The code may have been registered in the app, but the system has not finished the process. Please delete the code in the app and go through the process again.  See this guide > www.cygnusmusic.net/resources/2fa/

I’m an Artist who has received a statement, and I can’t log in.

Artists receiving payments have a different login portal. Here is the portal login, and it’s usually your email that is used as the username. Please see this FAQ if you are having trouble. 

Please disable 2fa from my account.

We do not recommend this, By implementing 2FA, you can maintain the privacy and integrity of your music and account details, ensuring they are accessible only by authorised personnel. It also protects your labels funds, if you do decide to remove 2fa, Cygnus can’t be held accountable for any breaches to your account.

I have not received the password reset email.

Please check your junk folder if you still can’t see emails. It may be that [email protected] needs to check if your email is subscribed to our email.

My email is no longer active, and I need to change it.

I have entered my email address as my username, and it’s not letting me in.

Please make sure you are entering your username; emails are not accepted as usernames.
