As an independent music distributor, our mission is to support and promote the work of real artists. We also note that A.I can be a powerful creative and complementary tool when producing music.     • We do not support<\/strong> the submission of music that is 100% AI-generated. Our focus remains on distributing and promoting works created by real artists to ensure the authenticity and artistic integrity of the music we represent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      AI as a Complementary Tool<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      • We recognise that AI can be a valuable tool for artists. We accept music<\/strong> where AI is used to complement or layer original works created by the artist. The use of AI in such works can be up to 40%<\/strong> of the total recording.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

        Source of AI Material<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

        • Any AI-generated content used in a recording must be sourced from non-copyrighted material<\/strong>. Artists must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence that the AI components used in their music are free from copyright restrictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

          Demonstrating Compliance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

          • Artists submitting music that incorporates AI elements must provide documentation or evidence showing that the AI-generated portions are derived from non-copyrighted sources. This ensures transparency and protects both the artist and our distribution platform from potential legal issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Artist Requirements.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            To qualify for submitting music that incorporates AI-generated elements, artists must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n

            • Existing Artist Status<\/strong>: The artist must be an established artist with an active presence on social media and a Spotify page.<\/li>\n
            • Good Existing Catalogue<\/strong>: The artist should have a substantial existing catalogue of music.<\/li>\n
            • Current Catalogue Performance<\/strong>: The artist\u2019s current catalogue must be performing well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Original Artist Statement<\/strong>: A brief statement from the artist explaining the extent of AI usage in their work and affirming the originality of the non-AI components.<\/li>\n
              • AI Source Documentation<\/strong>: Clear evidence or documentation that verifies the AI-generated material used is non-copyrighted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
